Quick n Dirty Directions to WLSSD (27th Ave W & Waterfront)

We’re hoping your access is unimpeded for the rest of the project, but no worries, we’re always here for ya, however you get here.]

Access the WLSSD Household Hazardous Waste Facility & Yard Waste Compost site from NORTHBOUND I-35. From northbound I-35, take the regular 27^th Ave W. exit and veer right, it’s the only option and will bring you right here.

Coming from the north (downtown Duluth direction)? No problem. Exit at 40^th Ave W, take a left and use the overpass over I-35 to get back on the freeway pointed the other direction.

On your way out, you will enter onto Northbound I-35 again. Need to spin around? We recommend staying right (as though headed to Wisconsin), taking the Garfield Ave. exit, and then hopping right back on 535 southbound (swing left coming out of that curve).
