The WLSSD Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility on Courtland Street will remain OPEN for regular hours today, 9am-4pm. Paints, stains, cleaners, and other household chemicals can be disposed of free of charge, year-round at our facility.
The WLSSD Administration office will also remain open today from 8am-4:30pm. Administrative staff are available to answer questions as needed.
Additionally, WLSSD’s Wastewater Treatment facilities must operate continuously (through inclement weather, holidays, and other events) to treat the nearly 40 million gallons of wastewater received each day. They work diligently to maintain the high quality treatment of wastewater that our community relies on to protect public health and our environment.
