WLSSD Interceptor Project on Superior Street begins May 2
[Duluth, MN] – Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) contractors will begin a project to clear sediment from WLSSD’s East Interceptor sanitary sewer pipeline at the corner of 3rd Avenue East and Superior Street beginning Tuesday, May 2, 2017. The project may result in closure of the 3rd Avenue East right turn-lane on the upper side of Superior Street. No other traffic lane closures are expected.
The work is projected to be complete by Thursday, May 4. Work hours will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. No interruption in sewer service is anticipated. Large maintenance vehicles will be present at the site during project working hours.
